Iowas Gay Wedding Planner is a new, Iowa-based resource to that aims to help gay and lesbian couples locate information on getting married in Iowa. This information will include
- News regarding the legal and social elements surrounding Gay Marriage in Iowa
- Information on the steps needed to apply for and receive a Marriage license in Iowa
- Gay and Lesbian Advocacy information, helping them locate like minded people with additional resources and tips
- Vendor Listings, to help couples find gay and gay-friendly vendors around Iowa
Our Plan
Our target market is out-of-state gay couples who are looking for information to wed in Iowa (55,000+ projected in the next three years). We believe these couples will primarily be using search engines to locate service providers, and general information regard gay marriage.
Our site will utilize the best resources available to reach those we hope to serve. This includes leading Search Engine Optimization strategies, Social Networking utilities (including Facebook, Twitter and our Panache Points blog) to build a proud and vibrant community.
