The Garden and Galley Bed and Breakfast is located 12 miles South of Des Moines Iowa, in Indianola, and just 20 minutes from the Des Moines airport. This1950’s Frank Lloyd Wright style home sits on nine, very private, rolling acres overlooking the South River Valley.  It is the perfect spot for an outdoor gay wedding for up to 120 guests.  The wedding couple strolls out the front door and down an avenue of trees with to an arch where the ceremony is held.  An intimate indoor wedding of up to 35 guests can be held in the main living room of the inn with its wall of windows and idyllic view.   Indoor weddings are performed in front of a beautiful, stone fireplace.  When planning a wedding at the Garden and Galley we can help you as much or as little as you like.   You can use your own wedding planner or we can arrange for any of the following: catering, flowers, cake, chairs, wedding tent, decorations, limo services, and more.  We can even officiate at your wedding.  The inn itself has four themed guest rooms, all with private baths.  A 5th room is available with whole house rentals.  One night in the master suite, the Garden Suite, is included with a wedding package at the Garden and Galley. Overnight stays include refreshments at check in and a full gourmet breakfast.  The inn has a restaurant license and other meals and picnics can be arranged with the innkeeper.  Indianola is a county seat, which makes for easy access to apply for a marriage license. Indianola is in Iowa wine country and is near 4 wineries and many parks and trails.
